The Department of Justice website stopped sending visitor information to third parties a few weeks after they say they had my GNWT email deleted

Even if this timing is only a coincidence, it's still an interesting footnote to this matter

So, what changed in 2015 that made them stop sending visitor information to third parties?

In 2015 the Department of Justice updated its Website and Privacy Statement to include a notice about cookies:

Installing cookies on visitor devices made further use of Google Analytics scripts unnecessary

This is the Previous Department of Justice Privacy Statement as it appeared in early 2015 - note that it does not include a notice about cookies:

This wording is virtually identical to the Legislative Assembly's Privacy Statement as it has existed since 2007:

Almost 13 years later, the Legislative Assembly's Privacy Statement is almost exactly the same as it was in 2007:

Over the years some grammatical errors have been corrected - but this spelling mistake has been consistent:

Which leads me to believe that this Privacy Statement has not been carefully reviewed in 13 years

So, the Department of Justice website stopped sending visitor information to third parties?
